Who We Are, Introduction

We are a private preschool with additional languages tuition in Pruhonice by Prague.

It is our philosophy to encourage a complex development of healthy self-confidence of our children by means of a natural education process and to lay foundations to an all-life education journey to all children according to their abilities, interests and needs.

The building of our preschool is located in a quiet and green neighborhood not far from the D1 exit in Tulipanova street behind the Tulipan Hotel with our own, nicely grown garden of 1200 m2, which allows us not only plenty of play-room but also room for fruit trees and a small bed to grow greens. This way, the kids are very happy to harvest their own vegetables and fruits and are thus learning a healthy life-style. Our very generous and spacious premises offer our children but also their parents four play/class-rooms, dress-room, gym, book-reading- room, sleep/relax –room, four restrooms and three complete bath-rooms.

In the neighborhood of our kindergarten we can find beautiful woods with great many points of interest challenging us for great adventures and discoveries such as Pruhonicky park, a dendrology garden, a firehouse, an aqua park, a farm, horse-back riding, salt cave…to where we enjoy making our trips or walks.

Our tuition is guided by the educational plans of the Czech Department of Education with regards to modern trends and streams of preschool education and upbringing of children. We learn about different countries and cultures and especially our own, Czech one. We try to keep the traditions, to teach the children ways of healthy nutrition and nature-coexistence habits and to live in symbiosis with the nature, which we love. We work in accordance with the new Frame Educational Program for Preschools which is the basis for our own educational program. We offer high-quality of standard- and a great variety of additional and extra care for our children - various bees (art, music, languages, yoga..), sport- and cultural-events, regular reunions with parents not only on preschool premises, as it is our aim to maintain a family atmosphere and for everyone to meet each other. Our comprehensive educational program is designed in such a way that it allows the children to learn, to experience and to understand the world around them, to encourage them to make new discoveries, to actively create things on their own, to interactively communicate, to solve problems, to develop empathy for their surroundings, to gain experience depending on their abilities and interests. We put great emphasis on individual approach to each and every child, integrated tuition and respecting individual personalities.

Why bring your kids to Prague every day, when you have a preschool close to your home and in the middle of nature?

Ceska skolka (Czech Preschool) is open on weekdays daily from 7:30 a.m. till 7 p.m., (adjustments possible, based on request). Our plan also includes past-hours babysitting either on regular or irregular basis (see our price-list).

On regular basis we organize reunions of children with their parents not only on our kindergarten’s premises as it is our goal to encourage the family atmosphere of the whole preschool as well as to let everyone meet each other. In winter-time, for example, we invite our kids and their parents to a ski- and sled-trips, with more info to be presented in course of September here or at the preschool.
